Geno’s Birmingham Mountain Radio, won the award for “Best Streaming and Recording Lounge” at the 16^th annual Sunset Sessions held the weekend of February 21-23 in San Francisco.  

 

Birmingham Mountain Radio was up against some big names in the Triple A format:  KINK-FM’s “Bing Lounge” in Portland; KFOG’s “Play Space” in San Francisco; KBCO’s “Studio C” in Denver-Boulder; NPR's “World Cafe” and Clear Channel’s iHeart Radio. 

 

Birmingham Mountain Radio is an Internet-based radio station with a rock/adult album alternative format focusing on local content through local DJs, specialty shows, promotions, and highlighting local and regional bands.
